Google set out on their mission to make a self-driving automobile in 2010 hoping to make driving safer, more enjoyable and to see the first stages of what autonomous technology can accomplish in automobiles. Their car has completed over 200,000 miles safely and they recently released this video, featured on Popular Science- New Technology, Science New, The Future Now, of how it can potentially change the lives of people with limited mobility, vision problems or disabilities.
